Description
MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology) conducted an archaeological desk-based heritage assessment of land at Kiln Farm, Sulgrave, Northamptonshire. A site visit was undertaken in order to conduct a walkover survey. An assessment was made on the setting of Sulgrave Manor and Sulgrave Conservation Area and the potential impact upon it by the proposed development. The Northamptonshire HER was consulted to collate baseline historical and archaeological data. Additional sources, including grey literature were consulted for additional information. A visit to Northamptonshire Archives was not undertaken due its closure during the coronavirus pandemic.
