Description
Headland Archaeology (UK) Ltd was commissioned on behalf of Scottish Power Renewables UK Ltd. to excavated nineteen evaluation trenches 1.8m wide by 50m long and opened by 360 mechanical excavator with bladed bucket, to inform application approval of the proposed solar farm infrastructure by assessing any potential impact on buried archaeological remains. All nineteen trenches were devoid of archaeological material.
