Description
Works comprised of a single cable trench that stripped an area of 240m in length, 0.6m in width and depths of 0.7m. Due to these parameters, the recording of archaeological features were limited by the visibility. A total of seven archaeological features were recorded, which most could not be characterised apart from one that was a ditch. While visibility and testing of archaeological features was limited due to the narrowness of the excavation trench, the presence of charcoal inclusions and disarticulated animal remains is consistent with the materiality identified on nearby prehistoric archaeological sites
