Title | Daventry 11kv Cable, Boddington, West Northamptonshire, OX17 1HD: Archaeological Monitoring and Recording Report |
Author/Originator | Cullen Cockburn |
Date/Year | 2024 |
Abstract/Summary
The results of the archaeological monitoring and recording revealed several potentially prehistoric archaeological features related to the cropmarks to the immediate northeast and southwest of the excavation trench. While visibility and testing of archaeological features was limited due to the narrowness of the excavation trench, the presence of charcoal inclusions and disarticulated animal remains is consistent with the materiality identified on nearby prehistoric archaeological sites, excavated along the route of HS2 in the vicinity between upper and lower Boddington
