Description

Archaeological excavation of c0.16ha identified low levels of prehistoric and Roman activity with unstratified finds. During the middle - late Saxon period to medieval period a sequence of boundary and plot ditches developed across the site demonstrating changes in land management and organisation. A possible post-built building and several pits point to 'back-yard' activities.
