Description

Archaeological supervision was carried out on the removal of overhead poles between Irthlingborough and Thrapston, Northamptonshire. Three of the poles were within the scheduled monument of Crow Hill. No archaeological features were disturbed during the works and it was noted that the holes created from the removal of the poles yielded no archaeological features. A further pole at Little Addington Roman Villa was not removed under archaeological supervision as Historic England called a halt to the work.
