Description

A detailed magnetic gradiometer survey was undertaken in connection with a proposed equestrian development on land at Newnham Lodge Farm, north of Chapel Lane, Newnham, Northamptonshire. The survey area totalled c.1.8ha. The site is in close proximity to a Saxon cemetery, which was exposed during quarrying in the early 19th century and the limits of which are not well known. The survey did not reveal any evidence of graves.
