Description

{1} Thirty-four trenches were opened in 1983 in the field west of Furnells. No occupation of those periods was detected, although some medieval and post-medieval field boundaries were recorded together with a small quantity of prehistoric evidence, including two sherds of pottery. [probably relates to ENN108380, but no plans in archive detailing which trenches] Data from NRHE record: RCHME microfilm PRN Nos:1486, 1487, 1488, 1489. (not sure which one relate to this investigation).
