Description

{1} Foundation trenches for an extension to the north side of the Boys Brigade building. The foundations measured 16.5m by 10.0m. Pits with medieval and post-medieval pottery were recorded. The trench extended to a depth of 2.30m but natural was not observed. It was presumed that the depth of deposits was due to quarry pits. {5} Measured section drawing included.
