Description

{1} A concentration of 43 sherds of Iron Age pottery covering a core area of 3.6ha was identified chiefly with the southern part of the cropmarks and the area to the east. Roman pottery was distributed over the entire cropmark complex. A decline in late Roman pottery may denote abandonment in the 3rd century.
