Description

{1} Observation of contractors trenches. One of a number. West face of widened sewer trench examined. Features included walls, floors and burials belonging to St Gregory's churchyard and the medieval properties fronting Horseshoe Street. Destroyed by retaining wall for street widening. {2} One end of a stone-built charnel house within the churchyard was found.
