Description

{1} During late November/early December 1997 HAT carried out an archaeological evaluation of land on two adjacent sites to the rear of New Street, Weedon Bec; seven trenches revealed medieval activity in the eastern part of the area, in the form of boundary ditches and a deep rubbish pit or well which produced pottery of the range c.1100-1400. The work was commissioned by Brian Barber Associates.
