Description

{1} Archaeological evaluation comprising 11 trenches was carried out as part of a proposal to construct new dwellings in the fields between Stanford Road and Manor Farm. Medieval settlement was identified in Field 1 but was badly truncated/disturbed. In Field 2 there was little evidence of medieval settlement remains. A probable pond was identified.
