Description
(Area digitised from 1:5,000 mapping.) An archaeological watching brief was carried out by Northamptonshire Archaeology as the final stage of archaeological recording during proposed development at West Park Farm, Whittlebury. The watchiing brief involved six site visits between May and June 1998, to both the footprint of the hotel and the construction of the access road. No evidence of any archaeological remains was found, confirming the results of the earlier geophysical survey.
