Description

{1} Evaluation prior to proposed development. Three trenches were excavated. No certain medieval or earlier remains were present. One ditch, which may be medieval or post-medieval, was located. Much of the site had been quarried; it was backfilled no earlier than c1350 and complete by the late 17th century. Site code: WHD97.
