Description

{1} A total of 30 trenches were excavated, concentrating on the north-western part of the field, since no archaeological features had been detected by non-intrusive fieldwork to the south-east. The trenches confirmed the presence of a settlement of mid-late Iron Age date covering an area of some 24 hectares.
