Full Description

{2} Trial trenching revelaed two linear ditches, c.1.5m wide and 0.9m deep.

{3} The ditch was aligned NW/SE and corresponds with an apparent linear boundary shown by the geophysical survey. The ditch was stepped across its upper profile with a sharp V- shaped lower profile. A small quantity of Iron Age pottery was retrieved from both ditch fills.
