Description

{2} Part of an urnfield cemetery? Freshly ploughed annular section of a BA urn containing cremated ashes [may just be an isolated cremation rather than cemetery]. Small pieces of cremated human? bone also recovered. To the south, at SP 7282 6668, three RB and a single Saxon sherd also found.
