Crop/soilmark: Good quality photography. Cropmarks of a circular enclosure identified. Sherds of Bronze Age pottery found in the same area during a fieldwalking survey

Full Description

{1} Cropmarks of a small circular enclosure; NCCAP:SP7266/122(+); Fieldwalking survey identified sherds of Bronze Age pottery, possibly from Bronze Age cremations, possibly a Bronze Age urnfield being ploughed out;
{2} Possible mis-location of RN:7266012;

{4} Fieldwalking survey identified sherds of a plough damaged Bronze Age cremation vessel and a few sherds of cremated bone. Interpreted as a cremation cemetery but may be an isolated burial. Three sherds of Roman pottery and a single sherd of Saxon pottery were found to the south.
