Description

{2} Ditch seen during continuation of West hunsbury Spine Road. The fill was mottled reddish-brown-grey clay and the surviving width was c1m but could be seen to be wider at a greater height from road section. The road was cut down at this point but not wnough to remove this feature entirely. A few sherds of Iron Age pottery were recovered from its fill. Other possible features included two wide ditches and a ?pond were seen in this area, one of which was cut by the Iron Age ditch.
