Description

{1} Excavation during introduction of mains water, which was taken into the church through the north wall of the tower. An area to the north of the tower was investigated and confirmed the existence of the west wall of the west range of chambers. [Data from NRHE: SMR number(Northamptonshire): 7471064. Mr Hall suggests that copies of the site archives accompanied the finds from most of his investigations when they were passed into the custody of the respective county museums in 1988. The originals are still in his keeping. (Mr D Hall. E-mail 13. 9. 04.).]
