Description
{2} Archaeological investigation was undertaken during redevelopment of the site for a new branch of Tesco Supermarkets after a number of wells were discovered. Because of the advanced state of construction it was only possible to partially investigate. {5} Found in development of Tescos- garderobe or rubbish pit, well and wall. Note: R Moore found almost complete Potterspury jug. D C Mynard visited and excavated well with R Moore. Medieval sherds from above silt in bottom.
