Description

{1} A small oval-shaped kiln was excavated; the pottery produced here was prominently of a fine, sandy-tempered ware, in the form of jugs, pans and cooking pots, and also roofing tile. [Information from NRHE: Dr Ivens will retain material from this site until such time as a county archaeological repository becomes available in Northamptonshire. (Dr R J Ivens. E-mail 13. 9. 04.).]
