Description

{2} Second of three seasons of work directed by University of Leeds archaeologist Lawrence Butler. {3} The choice for the second year of excavation was a group of four crofts (6-9) at the north-west edge of the village along 'North Street'. The excavated area was strip closest to the street in the four crofts.
