Description

{2} The site was not within the road corridor for the new A45, but was to be affected by the cutting of a large pipe-trench taking water from road drainage ditches to the river. This corridor was excavated. Footings of medieval houses together with an oven and yard surfaces were exposed and recorded although it was not possible to recover the full ground plan of any one house.
