Full Description
{1} Carnegie Free Library, Newton Road. Rushden Free Library and Reading Room was opened on 25th November 1905. The building was erected with a £2,000 donation from Mr Carnegie, after the Urban District Council. The building is in an elaborate classical style and is still in use as a library.
