Monument record 1301/28 - Tebbutt & Hall Shoe Factory, Nos 1-5 (odd) Coleman Street

No 1 constructed in 1883, a second house, No. 5, built in 1884 and No. 3 in 1895. The houses were owned by the firm's owners and the factory developed to the rear. The houses remain but the factory range has been demolished

{1} Tebbutt and Hall Boot and Shoe Factory, Coleman Street. The Tebbutt and Hall factory is the only remaining working boot and shoe factory in Raunds.
The factory building is essentially 19th century, although there is a modern 1950's extension. Other buildings consist of three virtually identical house frontages with the date stones "J.T.T. 1884", "J.P.H. 1895" and "J.M.1883" with industrial buildings behind.
