Full Description
{1} Gasworks were erected in the town in 1850 and situated to the south of Bridge Street. A small 20th century brick building remains on the site which is now owned by BG plc.
{3} The Brackley Gas Light & Coke Co Ltd formed in 1850. Vested in the Southern Gas Board from the Brackley Gas Company in 1949. Production ceased in 1850.
