Wesleyan Methodist Church
The original Wesleyan Methodist Church was erected in 1800 and accommodated 500 people. The new Wesleyan Chapel was erected in 1905 and is still extant and in use by the Methodist Church. A Sunday School for the Methodist Church was located to the west end of Chapel Lane, but this has subsequently been demolished. Burial ground in connection with the church. There is a building known as 'Wesley House' dated 1888 on Banbury Road, the building has been considerably re-faced, but it is possible that it was used as Manse for the Methodist minister. (1)
