Site of railway station on the Leicester, Bedford and Hitchin Railway, opened in 1857, redesigned in the 1870's, closed to passengers in 1950, and entirely in 1964. Also known as ' Burton Latimer For Isham Station'

Full Description

{1} London, Midland and Scottish Railway. Burton Latimer and Isham station was situated on the main line of the Midland section of the London, Midland and Scottish Railway approximately one mile to the west of the town. The station building to the west of the line and an ancillary building to the east survive, although the station has gone out of use. The former is now a domestic house whilst the latter is part of the Weetabix complex.
