Full Description
{1} Opened in November 1892. Contains two chapels of mixed stone linked by a central roofed space, one for Nonconformists and one for Anglicans. The land itself is also divided into consecrated ground for Church of England and the rest for other denominations. The cemetery and chapels remain intact and are still in use today. Film 5, photo 18-19.
{2} In the 1950s the cemetery was about 60% of the size laid out today.
