Full Description

{1} Original post office shown on early maps located in Sheaf Street. Would seem to be the large building on Sheaf Street of late 19th century design. Has carriage arch going through to rear of the building. May be one of the eight public houses and inns listed on Sheaf Street in the 1850s. Now utilised by a number of small shops.
