Full Description

{1} Peacock Inn, High Street. Still in use as public house today now known as the Peacock Public House. A small stone structure of early origin is located immediately behind the public house, of unknown function.

{3} The pub has a stone range with a steeply-pitched, coped gable to the rear which sits perpendicular to Church Street and would appear to be 18th century in date. The main rooms of the
pub sit immediately adjacent to this and are likely to date from the 19th century, although they may have an earlier base. The building is whitewashed with a slate roof.
