Full Description
{1} A workhouse is believed to have been situated at the east end of the village in Cotton End. When a row of cottages was demolished in the 1960's two large ovens were found in its walls.
{3} A parliamentary report of 1777 recorded a workhouse at Long Buckby for up to 14 inmates.
