Full Description
{1} Rugby Club. Long Buckby Rugby Football Club was established in 1875 and is one of the oldest Rugby Clubs in the country. Hired fields in close proximity to the village including 'Greenhill', Buckby Wharf and the 'Piece' below the banks. The club moved to Station Road in 1921. The Rugby Club still have their premises at the grounds on Station Road, but the building is modern.
