Full Description
{1} Brickworks, Northampton Road
John and Thomas Butcher employed in the manufacture of bricks. Also had some land to the rear of Messrs James Page and Co's works at Little Mill. Site of brickworks on Northampton Road - now gone, but much of the area open ground. No earthworks to be seen.
{2} This works in the middle of the town in the area bounded by High Street, Broad Green, Outlaw Lane and St John's Street was disused by 1883 but may have been that operated by the Butcher family since at least 1830.
