Full Description

{1} Finds of unstratified early middle Saxon pot sherds in scrapings for ironstone extraction. Slightly irregular hollows noted. Possible quarries to remove nodular iron ore. Also a small quantity of iron slag, also unstratified. Found by D. Jackson 10/01/1984.
