Abstract/Summary
Dennis Jackson was a Northamptonshire archaeologist known best perhaps for his excavations of Iron Age sites including significant settlements at Twywell, Brigstock, Wakerley, Aldwincle, Grendon and Wootton Hill Farm. However, he spent much time investigating sites of all periods that were threatened by extractive industries, mostly in the period before planning-led archaeological investigation.
