Full Description

{1} Lane running north from the village in 1548 and 1716, which continued across the stream to skirt the eastern edge of the Great Park and on to Nassington. [Shown from mapping evidence.]

{1} A minor road ran north from the village in 1548 and 1716, skirting the Great Park on its east side and presumably continuing to Nassington. This is likely to be medieval in origin. It was replaced by the present road at some time in the 18th century. [Shown from earthwork evidence]
