Full Description

{1} The ironstone railway which connected the quarries to the furnaces, LNWR and canal, at Nether Heyford is traceable east of Watling Street, being an embankment with iron fences, a cattle pass and tunnel under the British Rail mainline. Followed by a footpath described by E. Tonks in his book on ironstone tramways.
