Full Description

{1} Former corn mill, now a three storey stone building with a slated ridge roof, in earlier years the roof was of thatch. Richard Barr was miller during the latter part of the 18th century. From the mid 19th century until c.1930s, the Course family were millers here. The mill has been gutted of all machinery and has been converted to residential accommodation. Adjoining on the west side in the former Mill House of two storeys.

{2} Converted mill with attached mill house. The former mill is a three storey stone building with gabled slate roof. At the west end, the adjoining mill-house is of two storeys, stone with a gabled roof of modern composition pantiles. All of the windows have been altered. Interior of mill cleared of all milling machinery and used as stores. Probable that sub-ground investigation may provide more evidence, such as wheel chamber.
