Summary

Archaeological evaluation identified a north to south aligned ditch interpreted as a former mill stream associated with Brackley Mill located to the north. In the south-west of the site three other features were identified including a small undated pit, an undated ditch and a ditch containing single rim sherd of Roman pottery.

Full Description

{1} Archaeological evaluation undertaken in 2018 identified a wide ditch aligned approx north to south. It was interpreted as a post medieval mill stream ditch running towards the millstream. A single piece of modern ceramic tile was recovered from the fill.
