Full Description
{1} Village Hall with several later additions. " it is likely that they were originally built as Land Army Hostel, and when the war drew to a close were then used as POW hostels, possibly as late as 1948, to house prisoners working on local farms." As such would be similar to buildings at Greens Norton, Naseby and Corby. In letter of 10.4.02 AA identifies the hostels at Corby and Yelvertoft as having the [?]. The parent POW camp for the Yelvertoft hostel was Byfield, Camp 87.
