{1} Refers to the ‘Keep’ and a DL at the bridge, part of wider network of 7th Battn Home Guard defences from W’boro.

{2} Finedon defences included 1 keep with 2 outpost. The 1943 map identifies location of barbed wire, ammunition, LMG, Northaovers, Spigot mortars, landmines etc.,
