{1} Office of canal maintenance yard. c.1805, altered C20. Painted brick, pyramidal slate roof. Square with round-arched door and window to left with cast-iron frame. Wrought-iron weather-vane to apex of roof. Lean-to extension to left, lower single-storey extension to right of uncertain date, now mostly C20. Associated with Northampton Arm of Grand Union Canal and situated near its junction with the main canal.
