Full Description
{1} Parish room, formerly school. Dated 1816. Red brick, Flemish bond; large-slate roof. Single-cell plan. 1-storey, 3-window range. Central bay breaks forward and has round-arched sash window, possibly replacing blocked door, or set in blank recess; pedimental gable framing circular limestone plaque inscribed SCHOOL/ERECTED/1816 recessed in circular brick surround. 12-pane sash windows either side with wood lintels. Overhanging eaves. Porch to each end with plank door and fanlight.
