Full Description

{1} Service wing now flats. Mid C18. Ironstone ashlar, tiled roof, stone stacks. 2 storeys, 7 bays. Verandah with 6 iron Doric columns on stone plinths and tiled roof. Doorways on left bay, right bay and third bay from left with plain stone frames. Left doorway has 6-panel door, doorway third bay from left now fitted with C20 sash window and window second bay from left converted to doorway. C20 sash window and window second bay from left converted to doorway. C20 wood casement window second and third bays from right. First floor windows all have plain stone frames and C20 two-light wood casements. Interior not inspected.

II Stable Block, Edgcote House
1747, designed by William Smith, an L shaped block of brown stone with hipped old tile roof, two storeys and attic. The western section of 5 bays with central pediment on south front, cartwheel window in tympanum over clock face, central octagonal arched turret on roof ridge with ogee lead cupola and wrot iron weather vane. Upper windows 2-light casements, the lower, 4-light, alternate with doors. East part has five dormer windows, four upper casements (originally six), two arched coach doors to L.H. and 3 bays of casements to R.H. on west face.
