Early 18th century dovecote located 50 metres south east of Newbottle Manor House. Octagonal in shape with octagonal lantern.

Full Description

{1} Dovecote. Early C18. Coursed limestone rubble, one iron roof. Octagonal with octagonal lantern and gabled dormer. Interior: Brick nesting boxes with original revolving potence in position.

{6} The dovecote at Newbottle Manor Housewas assessed by the Oxford Archaeological Unit in 1995 as part of the Monuments Protection Programme. It was recommended for Scheduling.
