Building record 174/0/3 - Home Farmhouse, Main Street

{1} Farmhouse. Date 1637 above right dormer, altered late C17 and C18. Coursed limestone rubble; slate and tile roof; brick and stone chimneys. 2-unit lobby entry plan with central back-to-back fireplace. 2 storeys with attic; 2 bays. Datestone above window in right dormer. Central front doorway blocked. Present entrance at rear. Wooden casement windows of 2 lights with wooden lintels. Gabled attic dormers at rear, 2 narrow gabled projections of 2 storeys and attic with C19 and C20 casement windows. Cellar under parlour is the earliest dated in the region. Interior not inspected.
