Full Description

{1} Cottage C17/18. Limestone rubble and squared uncoursed stone. Thatched roof. Brick and stone stacks. 2 storeys and attic, 4 bays. Doorway in second bay from left has wood lintel. Overlight C20 door and C20 stone porch. Wood lintel of blocked window in left bay and below it a cellar window with wood lintel and C20 metal casement and in right bay a window with original stop chamfered lintel. To left of doorway at mezzanine level is 2-light casement window with wood lintel. C20 casement windows on first floor. Interior: original newel staircase in thickness of wall left of entrance. Part of raised cruck construction exposed but most roof timbers re-newed. Remodelled 1984.
